In the western portion of the camp (Teck Township) Queenston has formed seven 50%-50% joint ventures with Kirkland Lake Gold Inc. (“KL Gold”) to participate in advanced exploration on properties adjoining the Macassa mine. The properties include South Claims JV, HM Claim JV, East Claim JV, Kirkland Lake West JV and Gracie West JV, AK JV, Hudson JV.  Joint Venture with Newstrike Resources Ltd. In the central portion of the Company’s property, straddling the Lebel/Gauthier township line, Queenston has formed a 50%-50% joint venture with Newstrike Resources Ltd. (“Newstrike”) on the Commodore Property. Newstrike is the operator of the 57 claim project. Joint Venture with West Kirkland Mining Also in the western portion of the camp (Teck Township) Queenston has formed a joint venture with West Kirkland Mining (“WKM”) to participate in exploration activities on the Goldbanks Property adjacent to the Macassa mine. The Goldbanks Property was one of the properties the Company acquired through its merger with Vault Minerals Inc. in April 2010. WKM can acquire a 60% undivided interest in the property through exploration expenditures and payments. |
